Ingredients
Scale
Buffalo Chicken Mixture
- 1.25 cups chicken, shredded into 1/2-inch pieces and seasoned
- 14 oz buffalo dip (such as Frank’s RedHot Buffalo Chicken Dip)
- 1 cup mozzarella cheese
- 0.25 cup crumbled blue cheese
- 0.5 tsp garlic powder
- 3 green onions, thinly sliced on the bias for garnish
Dough
- 16 oz crescent rolls (Pillsbury Original recommended for best flaky texture)
Instructions
- Preheat the Oven. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) to ensure it reaches the right temperature for baking the crescent rolls crispy and golden brown.
- Prepare the Buffalo Chicken Mixture. In a bowl, combine the shredded seasoned chicken with the buffalo dip, mozzarella cheese, blue cheese crumbles, and garlic powder. Mix thoroughly until all ingredients are evenly incorporated.
- Shape the Crescent Rolls. Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate into individual triangles as per package instructions. Gently press the perforations to seal each triangle into a solid piece.
- Assemble the Dip Bites. Spoon a generous amount of the buffalo chicken mixture onto the wider end of each dough triangle. Carefully roll up each triangle, starting at the wide end, enclosing the filling completely. Place the rolled bites seam side down on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake the Bites. Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and bake for 12-15 minutes or until the crescent rolls are puffed and golden brown on top.
- Garnish and Serve. Remove from the oven and immediately top with thinly sliced green onions for a fresh presentation. Let the bites cool slightly before serving warm.
Notes
- You can substitute the buffalo dip with homemade buffalo chicken dip if preferred.
- Adjust the buffalo dip amount based on your desired level of spiciness.
- For a different cheese profile, try substituting blue cheese with shredded cheddar or pepper jack.
- Serve these bites with ranch or blue cheese dressing for dipping.
- Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator and reheat gently to maintain crispiness.
